Howard Tang

Howard Tang is an experienced professional currently serving as the QMT Factory Robotics Automation Director at STMicroelectronics since September 2021, where the focus is on leading material intra-logistic and last-mile automation within the Industry 4.0 department. Previously, Howard held the position of Site Head of Industrial Engineering 4.0 at STMicroelectronics, overseeing a diverse team in areas such as layout optimization and CAPEX management. Prior roles include Principal Engineer in Operation Excellence at ams OSRAM and a range of positions at Infineon Technologies, where significant contributions to Industry 4.0 initiatives and data management were made. A graduate of the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University, Howard's educational background includes advanced degrees in Industrial & System Engineering and Mechanical & Production Engineering, complemented by executive development training at Singapore Management University. Howard's accomplishments have earned multiple awards, including the Infineon High Performance Award and recognition as a New Inventor.
