Jean Schollhammer is an electro-optic characterization engineer at STMicroelectronics, where they focus on characterizing CMOS imagers for automotive applications. Previously, they held roles as a research engineer in nanophotonics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they designed and optimized devices, and as a lead engineer overseeing characterization processes. Jean completed their master's thesis on the simulation of birefringence-free lithium niobate waveguides and has experience as an intern at ONERA, where they designed a plenoptic 3D camera. They hold degrees in Photonics and Applied Physics from prestigious institutions, including the Institut d'Optique Graduate School and KTH.
