Jonathan Yu

Jonathan Yu is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in characterization and image sensor technology development. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Characterization Engineer at STMicroelectronics since September 2020, Jonathan previously worked at Foveon from December 2005 to July 2020, where significant contributions included the development of the Foveon X3 image sensor technology and the design of multiple generations of pixel structures. Earlier roles included serving as a Characterization Intern, where skills in device characterization and reporting were honed, and as a Test Engineer at GE Energy. Jonathan holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San José State University.
