Luca Lamagna is currently the R&D MEMS Process Development Manager at STMicroelectronics, leading a team focused on Diffusion, CVD, ALD, and Epitaxy processes for MEMS sensors and actuators. They joined the MEMS R&D group at STMicroelectronics in March 2011, contributing to the development of innovative MEMS technologies. Luca received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and completed a Ph.D. in Nanostructures and Nanotechnologies at the University of Milano Bicocca in December 2009. They have authored and co-authored 50 peer-reviewed papers and hold 6 patents, having presented research findings at various international scientific conferences.
