Mark Shaw is a seasoned professional with 40 years of experience in Optoelectronic and Electronics Packaging Design and Program Management. Currently serving as the Photonics and MEMS Principal Packaging Development Engineer at STMicroelectronics since 2006, Mark has held various roles within the company, demonstrating a deep expertise in silicon photonics and MEMS packaging. Mark authored or co-authored over 30 articles and holds more than 20 granted patents in the field. They have also worked with several notable companies, including Bookham, Mesophotonics Ltd, and Plessey III-V, enhancing their knowledge and skills in packaging development.
