Mayra Sarmiento

Mayra Sarmiento, PhD, is an accomplished engineering professional specializing in image sensors, with extensive experience in circuits, FPGAs, signal and power integrity, and hardware architecture. They have held significant positions at companies such as ON Semiconductor, Intel Corporation, and STMicroelectronics, and have served as an adjunct professor at DigiPen Institute of Technology. Mayra earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Currently, they are an Application Development Principal Engineer at STMicroelectronics.
