Andrea Redaelli, a Company Fellow at STMicroelectronics, received both their Laurea and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy. They have extensive experience in non-volatile memory technologies, having worked in various capacities at Micron Technology and Numonyx, including as an engineer and project leader. Andrea has coordinated the European funded PASTRY project and has contributed to the development of advanced phase change memory technologies, authoring more than 70 papers and holding over 135 US patents. Currently, Andrea is also involved in authoring books on semiconductor memories and systems.
