Daniel Colonna serves as the Marketing Director for Microcontrollers at ST Microelectronics, a position held since January 2008. Colonna has global responsibility for strategy and business development in the Microcontrollers sector, excluding Automotive. Notably, under collation's leadership, the STM32 product line has significantly increased the company's market share in General Purpose Microcontroller ICs from less than 2% in 2007 to over 10% by the end of 2012, with more than 10,000 customers adopting STM32. Previously, from 2004 to 2007, Colonna managed the 32-bit microcontrollers Business Unit, where the creation of the STM32 family was a key achievement. Daniel Colonna earned an engineer's degree in Electronics from Centrale Méditerranée between 1978 and 1981.
