David Blackie

David Blackie has over 17 years of experience in various roles in manufacturing and sales. David most recently served as the Vice President of Manufacturing at Sekisui TA Industries, LLC, where they oversaw $14.5M P&L and managed operations for multiple centers. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Sales at George O'Day's, Inc., where they implemented strategic planning and lean manufacturing concepts, developed key process metrics, and cultivated partnerships with top customers. David also served as the Production Manager at Smiths Medical, where they implemented new processes and technologies for international markets and managed daily operations for key production departments. Additionally, they worked as the Business Unit Manager at Avery Dennison, where they were responsible for P&L and managing efficient operations of the coating/laminating department.

David Blackie obtained their MBA with a focus in Business Administration from Purdue University Northwest, where they attended from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt in June 2008, although the institution that provided this certification is not specified.
