Murat Askin

Murat Askin is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the steel and metals trading industry. Currently serving as the Founder and CEO of StaalX since April 2022, Murat previously held the position of President and Member of the Board at Tata International Metals Americas Ltd. from November 2012 to May 2022. Murat's prior roles include Vice President of Americas at Tata Steel International, General Manager Americas at SteelOrbis, Trading Manager at Corus International Trading, Product Manager at Ferrostaal Inc., and Assistant Division Manager at Mannesmann Pipe and Steel. Murat holds an MBA in Marketing from National University and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
