Dan Block

Dan Block is an impact-driven global investor with over 15 years of experience in managing catalytic capital portfolios across various sectors, including agtech, fintech, and climate resilience. Currently serving as a Partner at Mercy Corps Ventures, they lead investments in innovative businesses while also actively participating on multiple boards for organizations like SparkMeter and Ejara. Dan began their career at Goldman Sachs and has since worked across four continents, contributing to over 100 transactions in public markets, private debt, and venture capital. They are bilingual in English and Spanish and are currently learning Portuguese while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Philosophy at Brown University.
