Steve Chatfield is a consultant to the life sciences industry and the public sector, specializing in biologics product development, business development, strategy, and emergency preparedness and response. With over 40 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and public sector, they have held various executive roles, including Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Vice President at Emergent BioSolutions, and have worked on the Board of notable organizations such as the Health Protection Agency and Microscience Ltd. Currently, they provide consultancy services to the biopharmaceutical industry and serve on several advisory boards, including the UK Vaccine Network and the Scientific Advisory Board for Enesi Pharma Limited. Recently, they advised the EU Commission on emergency preparedness and response to biological threats and contributed to the UK Vaccine Task Force's efforts regarding COVID-19 vaccine selection.
