Stack Carbon is a climate tech startup pioneering a revolutionary model for community-led carbon removal in Africa that puts smallholder farmers at the center. By leveraging two carbon dioxide removal solutions uniquely suited to rural Africa - enhanced rock weathering and biochar - we entwine urgent atmospheric carbon removal with regeneration of degraded croplands and economic empowerment of marginalized groups. 

Our decentralized, farmer-focused model delivers measurable impact across three vital dimensions:

Regenerating Soil Health: Through localized application of pulverized silicate rocks and biochar, we aim to significantly increase soil carbon sequestration, water retention, and nutrient availability – boosting crop yields and climate resilience.
