Darcie Burroughs

Darcie Burroughs has a diverse work experience. Darcie is currently a Content Marketing Specialist for STACK Construction Technologies since 2021. Prior to this, they owned Steel Pines from 2016 to 2021. From 2006 to 2016, they held various roles at Sports Illustrated, including Senior Editor at SI Swimsuit, Associate Editor at SI Swimsuit, Research Assistant at SI Swimsuit, and Assistant to Managing Editor at SI.com. During their time as Senior Editor at SI Swimsuit, Darcie organized and managed logistics for 8-10 domestic and international photo and video shoots per year, consulted on and produced public facing experiential events, and led and executed the relaunch of the SI Swimsuit website. As Research Assistant at SI Swimsuit, they researched locations, brokered deals, and acted as a liaison with hotels, international tourism boards, and production companies to organize photo shoots. As Assistant to Managing Editor at SI.com, they edited, proofread, formatted, and published articles daily, researched, cropped, retouched, and optimized photos and galleries for the web, and created a master database for all information pertaining to the 2007 SI Swimsuit Online.

Darcie Burroughs obtained their Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Temple University between 2002 and 2006. Darcie also holds three certifications from LinkedIn, obtained in October 2021: Content Marketing Foundations, Marketing: Copywriting for Social Media, and SEO: Optimize Your Social Media Profiles.
