Edward Sumerfield

Edward Sumerfield has over 30 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Edward began their career in 1987 as a Lead Software Specialist at American Express. In 1998, they moved to Software Synergy, Inc. as a Senior Consulting Analyst. Two years later, they joined Copernus as a Software Engineer. In 2002, they became an Agile Catalyst (Senior Software Consultant) at Strategic Data Systems, Inc. In 2008, they founded both Ed Sumerfield Consulting, LLC and Photrade.com, where they served as VP Engineering. That same year, they also co-founded Gaslight Software LLC. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Software Architect at Independent Purchasing Cooperative and PLXIS, respectively. Edward currently serves as a Senior Software Engineer at STACK Construction Technologies.

Edward Sumerfield attended the University of Plymouth from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Tavistock Comprehensive School.
