Tom Lagier

Tom Lagier has worked in the software engineering industry since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Web Developer at PRP Companies and StudioGood, where they developed and updated websites and Facebook pages using PHP with the Laravel framework, HTML5, SASS, and jQuery/JavaScript. In 2014, they moved to Rosetta as a Senior Associate Creative Engineer, where they created interactive marketing websites for international mobile phone manufacturers. In 2016, they joined Gliffy as a Senior Software Engineer, working on the Editor team and modernizing, improving performance, and implementing SAML SSO. In 2017, they moved to Google as a Senior Software Engineer, working on the Web Applications team at Nest and the Google Home Hub team. In 2020, they began working as an Engineering Lead at Stack Influence, architecting and implementing a next generation influencer marketplace, and also as a Consulting Software Engineer at Studio Lagier, where they are available for contracts building React applications, interactive visualizations, and Node.js or Java backends.

Tom Lagier earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from William & Mary in 2011, having started in 2007.
