Mike Benn

Mike Benn currently serves as the Director of Energy Procurement at STACK Infrastructure, overseeing energy supply and regulatory engagement for North America's data center portfolio. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager of Energy Markets and Policy at Microsoft, where Mike managed energy strategy and capacity delivery for the company's largest data center region. With a strong background in energy policy, Mike's prior positions include serving as Energy Markets & Policy Manager at Powerex, focusing on California and Western electricity markets and renewable policies. Additional legal experience includes advocacy and mediation work at Lindsay LLP, and articling at McCarthy Tétrault and the Department of Justice Canada. Mike holds a J.D. from the Peter A. Allard School of Law and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
