Calin Timbus

Calin Timbus is a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Enablon since September 2022, focusing on projects in Computer Vision and Natural Language Understanding for the safety and health industries. Calin also serves as a Teaching Assistant at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, teaching courses in Machine Learning and Linear Algebra, and has been a member and mentor at Stack Overflow since March 2019, specializing in machine learning technologies. Previously, Calin held positions as a Senior Data Scientist at IBM Consulting, a Machine Learning Engineer at Telenav, and a Machine Learning Engineer at Porsche Engineering, where contributions included developing deep learning pipelines and PoCs in various domains. Educational qualifications include a PhD in progress at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, a Master's in Artificial & Computational Intelligence from Babes-Bolyai University, and a Bachelor's in Computer Software Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
