Galina Brukman

Galina Brukman is an experienced procurement leader with a strong background in software and technology sourcing. Currently serving as Head of Procurement / Director at Stack Overflow since June 2021, Galina is responsible for shaping the procurement strategy and implementing the company's first procurement system. Previously, Galina held the role of Director, Technology Sourcing at Refinitiv, overseeing software procurement during significant corporate transitions. Galina also founded Contractville, focusing on vendor negotiations for startups, and established the procurement function at MongoDB, Inc. through its IPO. With extensive experience at Thomson Reuters, JPMorgan Chase, TD Ameritrade, and the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Galina possesses a deep understanding of contract negotiation across various sectors. Galina holds an MBA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a BS in Computer Science from Columbia University.
