Matthew Wong

Matthew Wong is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership roles. As President and Director of Logistics at SFU Surge, Matthew has successfully directed workshops and hackathon events while securing funding and optimizing organizational processes. Currently serving as a Stack Overflow Student Ambassador, Matthew promotes coding and technology among peers and provides mentorship. With a background in full stack development at Providence Health Care and BCCH Digital Lab, Matthew has led significant projects, including an internal finance app and a machine-learning mobile application. Additional roles include backend development and custom website creation for various companies and instructing robotics to youth. Matthew is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science at Simon Fraser University.
