Charles Smith

Charles Smith is a Senior DevOps Engineer at StackAdapt, bringing over 10 years of professional software development experience and 14 years as a system administrator. Previously, they transformed MacEwan University's infrastructure and security teams as both the Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Information Security and Compliance Officer. Charles has also contributed to various organizations, including Chenomx Inc. and BioTools Inc., and has a strong background in Java and cloud technologies, particularly in leading cloud migration projects and enforcing modern DevOps principles. They hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honours from the University of Alberta and a Technical Diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
