Jack Yiu

Jack Yiu is an Engineering Manager at StackAdapt. Jack has also worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Casalova and as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Toronto.

Jack has helped to scale the platform at Casalova to over 4 million active users a year, generate over 100k+ leads for agents and develop a top 10 grossing business app on iOS & Android. At the University of Toronto, they taught Introduction to Software Engineering, Engineering Large Software Systems, Intro to Web Applications & Databases, and Principles of Programming Languages / Functional Programming.

Jack is skilled in React, Redux and Typescript for the web front-end, React Native for mobile apps, NodeJS / MongoDB / PostgreSQL / Elasticsearch for back-ends and GraphQL as a data layer.

Jack Yiu attended King George V School and then went on to the University of Toronto where they studied computer science and information systems & software engineering. Jack did a co-op at the University of Toronto and then graduated with their degree.

They work with Cheng Chen - Software Engineer, Tiange Yao - Front-End Engineer, and Wentao Sui - Software Engineer. Their manager is Afish Mahesaniya, VP, Engineering.
