Kuan Wei

Kuan Wei is a Senior Data Scientist at StackAdapt since January 2023, previously holding positions as an Applied Scientist at Amazon and a Data Scientist at Intact. Kuan's academic background includes Master's degrees in Computer and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania and Chemical Engineering from McGill University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from McGill University. Kuan has extensive research experience, having worked in various capacities at McGill University and The University of British Columbia, where key contributions included designing quantitative experiments to identify natural compounds against drug-resistant bacteria and synthesizing nanocomposite materials for wastewater treatment. Additionally, Kuan has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for advanced undergraduate engineering courses, demonstrating a strong foundation in both practical and teaching aspects of engineering and data science.
