Thomas Fortin

Thomas Fortin is a Machine Learning Engineer currently employed at StackAdapt. They recently completed a thesis-based Master's in System Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo, where they conducted independent research on scaling laws for biosignal transformers. During their studies, Thomas worked with Smile Digital Health to enhance their master data management system using machine learning. They previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the same university, gaining substantial co-op experience in machine learning. With proficiency in technologies such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and AWS, Thomas is well-versed in the tools relevant to the industry.
