Alex Hills

Alex Hills is a Director of Autonomous Vehicle Mapping, specializing as a Tech Lead in backend systems engineering for autonomous vehicle maps. They have architected systems and pipelines that process terabytes of vehicle logs daily into map data while mentoring technical staff in design and engineering solutions. Alex holds both a B.S./B.A. and an M.S. in Computer Science from Brown University and has previously contributed as a Research Assistant, Program Manager, and Staff Software Engineer at prominent organizations like Microsoft, Google, and Cruise. Currently, they serve as a Senior Engineering Manager at Stack AV.
