Brett Browning

Brett Browning is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the robotics and autonomous systems sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Stack AV since February 2023, Brett previously held prominent roles at Argo AI, including Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Product Development, where leadership led to the achievement of driverless operation and public pilots in diverse urban environments. Additionally, Brett served as Vice President of Robotics at Argo AI, overseeing the creation of the software team. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Manager at Uber Advanced Technologies Center, Co-Founder of Mine Vision Systems, and Senior Systems Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute. Brett holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Robotics) from The University of Queensland.
