Cat Martin

Cat Martin has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Cat is currently the Director of Merchandising at StackCommerce since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the roles of Director: Pricing, Promotions, and Forecasting, and Sr Manager: Pricing, Promotions, and Forecasting at SimpliSafe from June 2022 to December 2022 and from December 2020 to June 2022, respectively.

Before SimpliSafe, Cat worked at Wayfair as a Manager: Perigold Casegoods from August 2019 to December 2020. Their responsibilities included leading a team, developing business plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and coaching a high-performing team.

Cat also had significant roles at TELUS, where they worked as a Manager: Accessories & Connected Tech from December 2016 to August 2019. During their tenure, they managed a team responsible for P&L management, product strategy, vendor relationships, and promotional strategy.

Prior to TELUS, Cat worked at Motorola Mobility as the Head of Marketing: Canada in 2016, where they were responsible for strategy, execution, and budget management of all marketing initiatives.

At TELUS, Cat held various positions, including Senior Product Manager (Consumer Mobility Pricing) from November 2014 to January 2016, Product Manager (Accessories) from July 2012 to November 2014, and they began their career with the company as part of the Marketing Development Program from August 2011 to July 2012.

Cat also has previous experience working at Anheuser-Busch InBev as part of Park Operations at Busch Gardens from July 2008 to September 2010.

Cat Martin earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) degree with a focus in Marketing and International Business from Queen's University. Cat attended Queen's University from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, they participated in a study abroad program at BISC Herstmonceux Castle, where they furthered their studies in International Marketing. Prior to their university education, Cat Martin obtained a High School Diploma from Academy at the Lakes, where their field of study is unspecified.
