Established in 1956.

For several decades, we've been rated AV Preeminent via Martindale-Hubbell. Being among the 5% highest-rated lawyers in the U.S. means fellow lawyers, judges, and other legal experts believe we're among the best in our field.

For 30 years, we've also been one of only 3,000 worldwide businesses on A.M.Best's business index. Being so distinguished among hundreds of thousands of diverse businesses across the globe is a true reflection of our incredible expertise and service.

As a small firm of 5 attorneys with 125+ years combined experience, our size is part of our success. We can offer excellent representation for less than bigger firms, and also be very particular about the attorneys we hire.

Though in Norfolk, we serve clients throughout Virginia. We also represent many national businesses (including numerous Fortune 500 companies) which provide goods, services, and support to our community every day. Because we don't advertise, most of our business comes from referrals.

We strive to build lasting relationships with our clients, and the many we’ve continued to represent over the decades can attest to our success. Most of our work is referral-based, which also gives testament to our clients’ continued satisfaction and belief that we are, indeed, a truly unique and talented group of highly skilled legal professionals.
