Dan Barr

Dan Barr is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical marketing and IT infrastructure. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at Stacklok since September 2024, Dan previously held roles at HashiCorp as a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager and Technical Product Marketing Manager from May 2022 to September 2024. Prior to that, Dan spent nearly a decade at The Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University as an IT Architect and Systems Administrator 4, focusing on strategic needs assessment and infrastructure support for a U.S. Navy affiliated research center. Dan's experience also includes leadership positions in IT Infrastructure Services at both United Fire Group and Mercer Insurance Group, where responsibilities encompassed enterprise-wide IT services and disaster recovery. Early career experience includes application development and management of a Linux lab at Lock Haven University, where Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
