Joao Barbara

Joao Barbara is an experienced business leader currently serving as a Partner at Fern Business Building since August 2023 and as an Advisor to Stackt, a UK-based moving and storage marketplace, since March 2024. Joao is also a member of the Operators Guild, an exclusive group for top finance and operations leaders since January 2023. Previously, Joao held the position of Regional General Manager at Nursa, where efforts were made to revitalize the South region during a market downturn. Notable prior roles include Head of Central Operations and Director of Provider Growth at Wheel, and Head of Digital Onboarding at CloudKitchens. Joao's experience at Uber spanned multiple leadership roles, including General Manager and territory lead for São Paulo, where significant growth and operational success were achieved. Joao's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and participation in the Uber Executive Program at Harvard Business School.
