Tomáš Taro

Tomáš Taro is an accomplished Full Stack Engineer with extensive experience in developing web applications and data exchange platforms. Currently employed at Global Grid for Learning since September 2016, Tomáš contributes to the School Passport project, which facilitates secure data exchange while safeguarding student PII. Prior to this role, Tomáš worked as a Full Stack Engineer at SingleCase from April 2019 to November 2022 and served as Lead Extension Developer at CatBlock from October 2014 to 2020. Tomáš also gained valuable experience as an Extension Developer at AdBlock from August 2013 to February 2016, where responsibilities included coding enhancements and managing translation efforts. Earlier involvement includes a role as an External Editor at Svet IT and a summer internship at Eyeo GmbH. Academically, Tomáš holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Web Engineering from the Faculty of Information Technology CTU in Prague.
