Ben Caussyn

Ben Caussyn serves as the Coördinator Stadsontwikkeling at Stad Eeklo as of 2024. Previously, they worked as a Milieu-ambtenaar at Stad Eeklo from 2011 to 2017 and contributed as a Wetenschappelijk medewerker at Ghent University in 2011, focusing on heritage landscape assessment. Their experience also includes a role as a researcher at Terra Engineering & Consultancy in 2011, where they conducted historical inventories related to land use. Ben holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Urbanism and Spatial Planning from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a degree in Zythology from Syntra Midden-Vlaanderen, where they are also currently a microbrewer and beer sommelier.
