Karin Stemgée is currently the Departementshoofd Facility Management at Stad Gent, where they manage the city's facility operations, including purchases and the maintenance of municipal properties. Prior to this role, Karin served as the Manager Onshore Infrastructure at the Port of Antwerp from 2017 to 2019 and held multiple positions at De Watergroep from 2009 to 2017, including Provinciaal Directeur Oost-Vlaanderen and directeur of project engineering. Karin graduated cum laude with an Engineer's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Ghent University in 1992 and is currently furthering their education at KAA.
