Sofie De Loecker is the current Waarnemend financieel directeur of Stad, OCMW, and politiezone Leuven, a position held since 2025. They previously served as CEO at CenEnergy from 2023 to 2024 and held various leadership roles at Belfius between 2018 and 2020, including Head of Asset Finance, Trade Finance & Real Estate Advisory, and Head of Debt Capital Markets. Sofie began their career as a Credit Risk Manager at Artesia Bank and subsequently worked as a Credit Risk Specialist at Dexia. They earned a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering, graduating cum laude from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2008.
