Timothy Nel

Timothy Nel is a Law Lecturer at STADIO Higher Education since February 2024, teaching modules including Introduction to Law, Family Law, Commercial Law, and Constitutional Law, while also supervising LLB Research Papers at the Honours Level. Prior to this role, Timothy served as a Legal & Financial Researcher at the Centre for Environmental Rights, focusing on corporate accountability and transparency issues from September 2022 to February 2024. Additional experience includes roles at Capitec Bank as an Anti-Money Laundering Analyst, at the National Financial Ombud Scheme as an Adjudicator, and positions at PwC South Africa and JTC Group as a Due Diligence Officer. Timothy holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate Finance and Governance from the University of the Western Cape and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Laws (LLD) in Mercantile Law at the same institution.
