Chris Hassel

Chris Hassel is a seasoned sports broadcaster with extensive experience spanning various prominent media organizations. Currently serving as Play-by-Play announcer at CBS Sports and Play-by-Play at Stadium since October 2017, Chris also hosts at CBS Sports HQ and provides commentary on Facebook. Prior to CBS, Chris spent over four years as an Anchor for ESPN, where duties included anchoring SportsCenter and hosting radio shows. Additional experience includes a role as a Talk Radio Host at Clear Channel Radio and as a Sports Anchor/Reporter for Local TV LLC. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio/TV and Journalism from St. Ambrose University, and completed high school education at Muscatine High School.
