Chris Barrett

Chris Barrett has a diverse work experience with various roles and responsibilities. Chris started their career as a Youth Worker at Pietarsaaren Nuorisotoimisto in 2012. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an Office Administrator at Galway Autism Partnership, where they provided information and support to individuals and families affected by autism spectrum disorders.

In 2014, Chris joined Evergreen Healthfoods as an Accounts Administrator, mainly focusing on accounts payable. Chris also managed EPOS product data and reconciled cash transactions. Later that year, they worked at ICE Group as a Recruitment and Payroll Administrator, where they ensured timely and accurate payments to agency workers and managed client invoicing.

Starting in 2015, Chris held the role of Front Office Coordinator at Wayfair, where they managed three different offices and liaised with building management for maintenance and renovation purposes. In 2016, they briefly served as the Assistant Operations Manager at Mint Tek Circuits, overseeing the sales process for PCB brokerage services.

From 2016 to 2017, Chris worked at Cpl Jobs Ireland as a Recruitment Consultant for Office Support, specializing in legal and professional services recruitment. Chris also served as a Recruitment Coordinator for Myhomecare.ie, responsible for hiring nurses and healthcare assistants for the homecare sector.

In 2017, Chris joined Replex.io as an Inside Sales Manager, leading the American market Inside Sales division. Their responsibilities included lead generation, sales campaigns, and identifying business development opportunities.

Chris joined Economist Intelligence: Clearstate in 2018 as an HR Manager for DII. Chris was later promoted to Operations Manager, overseeing project execution, talent acquisition, finance, and vendor management. In 2021, they became the Global Consulting Operations Manager, responsible for managing the operations of the Medtech Consulting practice. Their role expanded in 2022 to include managing the operations for the Gateway products vertical.

Currently, Chris works at Staffbase as the Head of Group Business Operations, overseeing business operations and leading a team.

Chris Barrett attended the University of Galway from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Politics and Geography. Chris then attended the National College of Ireland from 2015 to 2016 and obtained a CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Management. In 2019, Chris pursued further education at Avado, completing a CIPD Diploma in Human Resource Management in 2020.
