Genefa Murphy, PhD, is a passionate business leader with nearly two decades of global experience in marketing and communications. Currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at Udemy, they previously held leadership roles at Micro Focus and Five9, where they drove marketing strategies and brand awareness. Genefa was an Academic Board Member for the Rutgers Big Data Certificate Program from 2019 to 2021 and is actively involved as a member and coach in multiple professional organizations. They earned a BSc Hons in Business Studies and a PhD in User Acceptance of New Technology from Swansea University.
