James Townsend

James Townsend is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the marketing and advertising industry. Currently serving as CEO of Stagwell EMEA and Global CEO of the Stagwell Brand X Performance Network since August 2021, James Townsend focuses on connecting solutions across Creative, Media, and Commerce while supporting a global workforce of over 6,500 across 60 locations. Prior to this, James Townsend held the position of Global CEO at Assembly Global from January 2019 to December 2023, leading the company's growth across 30 offices and a team of 1,500 colleagues. Other notable positions include CEO of 360i Europe from July 2015 to January 2019, Managing Director and Head of Account Management at Fallon London from April 2010 to June 2015, and Client Services Director at exposure London from December 2002 to March 2010.
