Mark Danko

Mark Danko has over 16 years of work experience in various roles related to DevOps and site reliability engineering. Mark is currently working as a Lead DevOps Engineer at Staked since May 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Akamai Technologies from March 2020 to May 2021. From April 2017 to March 2020, Mark worked as a Sr. MTS (Member Technical Staff), DevOps at Instart Logic. Before that, they worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at MediaMath from October 2014 to April 2017. Mark also has experience working at Google as a Software Reliability Engineer from April 2011 to September 2014 and at ITA Software as a Software Operations Engineer from May 2005 to April 2011.

Mark Danko attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they also hold additional certifications, including being Triplebyte Certified DevOps Engineer, which they obtained in August 2020, and completing the DevOps Foundations: Site Reliability Engineering course from LinkedIn in March 2020.
