Peter Schmeits

Peter Schmeits is the Head of the Inspections & Materials Engineering Department at Stamicarbon, where they currently manage daily manufacturing and asset operations of a naphthacracker. Previously, Peter held various roles at SABIC, including Chief Execution Mechanical, Scoping Team Leader, and Maintenance Manager, where they were responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities and larger projects across multiple facilities. With a solid background in the chemical industry, Peter possesses extensive experience in operational management, project planning, and safety practices. Peter's educational credentials include studies in Mechanical Engineering and Maintenance Management from institutions such as Delft University of Technology and Zuyd University of Applied Sciences.
