Solomon Wassie

Solomon Wassie is a Process Engineer at Stamicarbon, specializing in the conceptual and front-end engineering design of urea and UAN plants since January 2020. Responsibilities include preparing front-end engineering packages, providing training for engineers and operators, and offering technical support to sales and licensing teams. Previously, Solomon served as Project Leader at Eindhoven University of Technology, managing international projects and performing techno-economic analyses while also teaching various engineering courses. Solomon holds dual PhDs in Chemical Engineering and Energy and Process Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and Norwegian University of Science and Technology, respectively, along with a Master's degree in Utilities Processing from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mekelle University.
