Andy Tonsing

Vice President, Postsecondary Education at Stand Together

Andy Tonsing has diverse work experience, primarily in the field of postsecondary education. Andy started their career as a Staff Counselor at Boys and Girls Club in 2007. Andy then worked as a Phone Bank Manager and Development Intern at Claremont McKenna College Development Office from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they served as an Associate at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. From 2012 to 2013, they were the Product and Operations Manager at Alpine Education. In 2013, they joined Pioneer Academics and held the positions of Associate Director of Academic Outreach and Consultant until 2018. Andy then worked at the Charles Koch Foundation as a Program Officer from 2018 to 2021 and as a Director of Postsecondary Education from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Postsecondary Education at Stand Together since 2023.

Andy Tonsing earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Claremont McKenna College. In February 2019, they obtained a certification in Instructional Design and Technology, specifically the MicroMaster program, from the University of Maryland University College. Currently, Andy is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, expected to be completed between 2021 and 2023.
