Jake Grant

Jake Grant has a diverse work experience history spanning various roles and organizations.

Jake is currently working at Stand Together as the Director of Strategic Partnerships, a position they began in October 2022. Prior to this role, Jake was the Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Stand Together from April 2022 to October 2022 and was a Partnership Associate in the same department from May 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Stand Together, Jake worked at Stand Together Foundation as an Investment Analyst from November 2020 to May 2021. Jake also held the role of Research Associate from November 2018 to November 2020, where they focused on finding and vetting social entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations working to reduce poverty.

Jake's earlier experiences include working as the Outreach Director at the Coalition to Reduce Spending from July 2017 to November 2018 and as a Research Manager at the Institute for Spending Reform from July 2016 to July 2017. Jake was an Online Training Developer at PsychArmor Institute from February 2016 to June 2016 and an Intern at the Office of San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer from January 2016 to May 2016.

Additionally, Jake served as the Vice President of Judicial Affairs at SDSU Interfraternity Council from March 2015 to March 2016 and as the President of Young Americans for Liberty from April 2014 to February 2016. Jake also worked as a Policy Fellow at State Budget Solutions from September 2015 to December 2015 and as a Policy Intern at Prison Fellowship from June 2015 to August 2015.

Jake Grant has a strong educational background. Jake completed their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Diego State University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. During their undergraduate years, they also had the opportunity to participate in the Oxford Study Abroad Program at the University of Oxford in 2014, focusing on International Relations and Affairs. Building upon their undergraduate education, Jake pursued a Master of Arts degree in Economics at George Mason University from 2019 to 2021.
