John Bergin

John Bergin, CSEP, currently serves as the Manager of Event Operations at Stand Together, starting in April 2024. Prior to this role, John was the Senior Event Logistics Coordinator at the Melanoma Research Foundation from August 2021 to April 2024, where John's efforts raised over $3 million annually through 5k fundraisers and galas, while managing a budget exceeding $1 million and expanding events into four new cities. In previous positions, John worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Puzzle Break, where a 40% audience growth and significant engagement increase were achieved, as well as Sales and Events Manager at New District Brewing Company, achieving impressive sales growth and expanding distribution efforts. Earlier experience includes management roles at Waffle House, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Peake Management, each showcasing John's strong leadership and organizational skills. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Virginia Tech.
