Standard Block & Grid® is an independent learning and performance consulting practice founded and led by Aaron D. Hunt, M.S.Ed., CPTD®. The practice offers project-based instructional design, corporate training development, video production, and performance consulting services to organizations across healthcare, finance, legal services, and the public sector.

The practice operates around three proprietary registered frameworks — the Standard Block Method (SBM)®, the Performance-Based Metric System (PBMS)®, and the Point System Measurement of Proficiency (PSMP)® — which together provide a structured, repeatable approach to designing learning experiences that connect directly to measurable performance outcomes. These frameworks distinguish Standard Block & Grid® from generalist design practices by ensuring that every engagement is grounded in a defensible instructional architecture before development begins.

Engagements span the full instructional design lifecycle: training needs analysis, curriculum architecture, eLearning development, instructor-led training design, instructional video production, and post-deployment evaluation. The practice is structured to support scoped, deliverable-based projects as well as longer-term consulting contracts, and is available for remote engagements across industries.
