Lee G. began their work experience as a Software Engineer Intern at EMC in 2012. They then worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft in 2013. In the same year, they also worked as a MIT EECS - Quanta Computer Undergraduate Research and Innovation Scholar at MIT Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL). In 2014, Lee G. co-founded Mirror Checkout, a retail-sector startup, where they developed the business strategy and managed relations with potential partners. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at MIT Media Lab, conducting research on the inFORM 2.5D interface. Additionally, Lee G. served as a Software Engineer Intern at Facebook, where they worked on tools for video publishing on Facebook pages. They then joined Meta in 2016 as a Software Engineer, where they researched, developed, and implemented ML-based solutions for the software development life-cycle. They later became a Software Engineering Manager at Meta in 2018, overseeing cross-functional collaborations and full-stack development projects. In 2021, they took on the role of Software Engineering Lead at Meta, leading program-level initiatives for the reconstruction of the Meta ads stack. Currently, Lee G. is working as a Software Engineering Manager at Standard Bots since 2023.
Lee G. pursued their education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. They obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the same institution from 2015 to 2016.
