John Wright

John Wright is an experienced Development Lead at Standard Chartered Bank since December 2018, with a robust background in risk management applications. Prior to this role, John served at RBS from 1996 to October 2018, holding various positions including Development Team Manager for Risk Explorer & Caprice, where oversight included teams responsible for tools providing Delta risk across multiple regions. John also managed semi-realtime Delta Risk for various asset classes and led a team focused on Cross Product Risk Management for the Front Office. Earlier roles included positions at Boehringer Mannheim Diagnostics, Open Conversions Plc, Orchard Business Systems, Metrotel, and IMS, encompassing software development and leadership in diverse programming environments. John earned a BSc in Computing, Maths, and Chemistry from Newcastle University between 1981 and 1984.
