Thomas Worden

Thomas Worden has a diverse work experience. Thomas began their career at PwC, where they worked as a Senior Associate from 2011 to 2015 and later as a Senior Accountant from 2015 to 2016. Thomas'srole involved leading engagement teams, managing budgets and project profit margins, and maintaining client relationships.

In 2016, Thomas joined Healius Limited as a Senior Financial Accountant in the Pathology division. Thomas was responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as overseeing audits and tax filing. Thomas also undertook projects to improve profitability and develop benchmarking analyses.

Thomas later took on the role of Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for the Pathology division, where they led the development of budgeting and forecasting models and conducted market analysis. Thomas also achieved cost reductions and improved consolidation processes.

In 2021, Thomas joined Carbar as the Group Head of Finance, overseeing the financial operations of the company. Thomas then became a Director at Aussie Angels and joined Finance in Tech as a Founding Member in 2022. Presently, Thomas is working as a Virtual CFO at Standard Ledger.

Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated strong financial management skills, strategic decision-making, and the ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams.

Thomas Worden earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, where they studied from 2005 to 2011. In September 2014, they obtained a CA certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC.
