Scott Anderson has a diverse work experience in various roles within different companies. Scott started their career in 1993 as a Project Engineer/Mill Manager at Independent Stave Company, where they designed and installed saw mill equipment and later became responsible for all mill operations. In 1998, they worked as a Project Engineer at HK Systems, and in 1999 they served as a Plant Manager at ConAgra Foods, overseeing the operations of a cheese manufacturing facility. Scott then joined Standard Process Inc. in 2000 as the Director of Operations, where they led manufacturing, distribution, supply chain functions, and a farming operation. In 2014, they became the Managing Director at Lee Engineering Company before returning to Standard Process Inc. in 2017 as the Vice President of Operations, where they were responsible for the overall strategic direction of the corporation, including manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and engineering.

Scott Anderson completed their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they studied from 1987 to 1993. In 2008, they pursued further education and obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. During the same period, they also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from the Lubar College of Business.
